Blister

Medical blisters from small up to medium quantities are formed in a class 100‘000 cleanroom,
using 7 modified, compatible thermoforming machines. Prior to the forming, the foil is statically
discharged and cleaned. Before sealing the parts into double PE-bags, each blister is visually
checked for air pockets and particle inclusions. Furnishing top-quality products is our aim.
For all medical blisters we use FDA and BGA certified materials such as PETG, PS, PP and
Barex in thicknesses ranging from 0,2 to 3 mm. We are able to produce blisters up to a
maximum size of 1300 x 620 mm.

For the production of large quantities MEDIPACK has installed two separate cleanrooms
of class 100‘000 according to US Fed. Standard 209 E. There, as well, the foil first of all is
statically discharged and cleaned in the material sluice. Then it has to be heated, formed and
finally checked by our specialists for air pockets and particle inclusions.
The double-packed blister piles are transported out of the cleanroom by a conveyor belt.
