Sustainability: Our responsibility. Our future
We have therefore developed a sustainability concept based on three pillars of ESG requirements: environmental, social and economic sustainability. When setting our goals, we are guided by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations in order to implement our sustainability agenda in the best possible way.
We are convinced that economic success and environmental responsibility must go hand in hand. We take our responsibility seriously, not only towards the environment, but also towards our employees, our suppliers and society. That is why we focus on innovative solutions that both protect the environment and meet the needs of our customers.

Ecological sustainability
Our commitment to climate protection
We are mindful of our responsibility towards the environment. We consciously integrate sustainable practices into our day-to-day business processes and decision-making. This includes the continuous improvement of our environmental performance and the promotion of resource-efficient and forward-looking solutions. Our commitment to sustainability is underlined, amongst other things, by our participation in EcoVadis. In 2026, we were awarded ‘Committed’ status.
Together, we can make a difference – for a more sustainable future.
We actively address the impact of our business activities on the environment. We have therefore carried out a carbon footprint assessment to transparently record our greenhouse gas emissions and identify the largest sources of emissions.
The analysis of our carbon footprint forms the basis for targeted measures to reduce emissions and continuously improve our environmental performance. By using resources responsibly and optimising our processes, we are contributing to climate protection and a more sustainable future.
Waste reduction is a key component of our environmental commitment. We have introduced comprehensive programmes to minimise waste in all areas of our company.
These include:
- Recycling: by introducing strict recycling guidelines, we ensure that materials such as paper, plastic and electronic waste are recycled properly.
- Waste minimisation: We promote the use of reusable materials and reduce the use of disposable products.
- Optimisation of production processes: Our production processes are continuously analysed and optimised to minimise the waste of resources and materials.
We focus on innovation in order to develop products that are not only more efficient, but also more environmentally friendly. Our research and development is focussed on
- Recycling of material: During the production of thermoforming sheets, edge trims are produced as a result of the process. These are regranulated and reused in our MEDPETG 6763 Medical Standard and R-Line thermoforming films.
- Material savings: We develop products that can be manufactured with less material while maintaining the same quality and functionality. This not only conserves resources, but also reduces the environmental impact of waste.
- Energy efficiency: This topic is becoming increasingly important in product development in order to reduce CO2 emissions. A good example of this is the new version of our "Swiss Edition" heat-sealing machine. This machine has a display that consumes less power. We have also reduced the power consumption for heating. Overall, the machine now requires significantly less energy.
